Joss Whedon and his heroes and villains epic offers more this time around — more characters, more plot points, more action — and a few reasons for concern.

Here we are on the precipice of Age of Ultron and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve been waiting for this one since the credits rolled on the first Avengers and the wait is almost over everyone. I’ve heard positive things and above all, I can’t to hear James Spader’s Ultron. Judging by the trailers we’ve seen so far he’s very badass.

Director Joss Whedon definitely tried to include more in AoU and just all around make the picture bigger according to all accounts. I haven’t seen the film yet so I’ve yet to confirm these claims. Along with our current listing of Avengers we have newcomers Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver joining the group and I’ve yet to see their dynamic play off each other but I will…oh yes I will. I’ve been waiting for this moment for all my life…at least I’ve finished this movie and then I’m waiting for Civil War next year.

Robert Downey, Jr.’s  “Iron Man” suit was a shameless copy, kind of like a designer ripping off a Vera Wang wedding dress … so claim 2 guys who now…

I read this one and was just…in awe. Can you believe that there are people actually suing Marvel and Disney (who at this point I’m sure have genetically engineered lawyers) for copyright infringement on Iron Man? I’ve heard some stupid stuff in my time but that’s just asinine.

Apparently this is a suit that’s been going for a couple years for having “A character with a mechanized suit doing stuff” because they had it in their comic that I’ve never even heard of. Just goes to show that haters ‘gon hate and the set of balls these guys are ridiculous. On top of that they even say Marvel ripped off one of their comic covers with the cover of the latest Iron Man movie, I’m just shaking my head at this stupidity. Not only do they think Iron Man, a character older than the people claiming the suit is infringing on their character but they also think they have a case!

Gee, I guess the produce world will be taken by storm when Green Giant sues Marvel for having a giant Green Dude.

Frank Miller is returning to DC Comics to finish his Dark Knight story with an all new chapter in his most famous storyline.

So I checked my watch and you know what time I saw? You guessed it: IT’S MILLER TIME!

That’s right everyone it’s about time for Frank Miller’s newest installment about The Dark Knight Returns. Originally written in 1986 this comic book explored a point in the Caped Crusader’s life where he had been retired for 10 years after the U.S. Government turned on the Justice League and Superman had defected to a thug for Uncle Sam, this action completely changed the public reception of Superman to the point where he was only referred to as “Him”. During the events of this book, our Dark Knight came out of a retirement to once again serve a Gotham City that he had once given up on.

Frank Miller returned to the universe in the early 2000s with The Dark Knight Returns which ended in a showdown of our once loved Superman versus Batman which resulted in the Dark Knight proving triumphant against the Last Son of Krypton in a battle which shook the foundations of Gotham CIty. Now Frank Miller is returning to the universe to make a trilogy in this universe. As of right now not much is known about the overall plot of the story but it is expected to start in the Fall of this year. Be sure to check out DK3: The Master Race to see the ultimate resolution of the conflict between Superman and Batman as inferred by the bloody Superman icon.

In the year 2015 of our dear lord and savior, Batman, we live in a world where comic books movies and TV are everywhere. If you had gone …

So I checked this out and honestly, at this point it’s too early to say if superhero movies are just a fad that will die out, or will be a permanent fixture in the community. They’ve really only just hit their stride after beginning with Iron Man in 2008 and 7 years have proven to be lucrative, with the Avenger’s 2nd outing, Age of Ultron coming in just a couple days.

It was also mentioned what would be coming next, and I think video game adaptations is a very positive suggestion. Sure, so far the movies we’ve gotten have come under a lot of scrutiny but as gaming and its community become more prevalent in mainstream media, so has people’s sense of importance in making sure these adaptions are good. Considering that there’s going to a World of Warcraft movie coming out in a year or so directed by Sam Raimi and a new Hitman movie releasing this Fall, that medium is slowly but surely catching steam but in my opinion, the movie that will serve as game adaptation’s “Iron Man” would be Assassin’s Creed, coming out in the next 2 years with Micheal Fassbender tapped to play the main protagonist. Either way, don’t think about it so much and watch some good movies.

“There is a dirty little rumor running around today about a major Easter Egg in the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer referencing a certain Boy Wonder.”

Dude, I have stared at this picture for like, 20 minutes, and I do not see a yellow cape! Not the picture above, but like, this picture, here in the source post. Okay so Ben Affleck is staring, all gloomy and sad, off into the dark distance of his… um, apartment or bat cave or whatever, and looking all grumpy. But! Then, you turn up the exposure, or at last, someone with a lot of time on their hands does… and you see the image of a yellow cape in the background. Dude. There is like, nothing yellow in that image. I’ve looked, and I just checked again to make sure! If you can see it, please, for god’s sake, give me some arrows, a red circle, something.

Anyway, so, a lot of surmising at this point is going on, and people are theorizing that the events of this movie are played out on the backdrop of the Batman comic issue, A Death in the Family, in which Joker kills Robin, and that’s why Batman is going after Joker later on, I guess….? in Suicide Squad. It all sounds a little far fetched to me, because I see no F*CKING CAPE, no yellow, nothing, to begin with, but hey, what would I know… maybe I became color blind in the last half hour, and didn’t figure it out until now. … Nope, I can still see yellow, just checked. Well. Gee. Anyway, please comment, tell me where the yellow thing is?!

New ‘Fantastic Four’ images reveal Thing and Dr. Doom!

And obviously, The Human Torch, yum. Fox released a new trailer over the weekend, which imparted to us images of Dr. Doom and Thing, –which seems like kind of a pejorative, honestly… poor guy can’t help being made out of orange-ish rocks… Anyway, I know that lately we’ve been all about the comic book movies, so I promise to bring you solid comic book stuff tomorrow, and hold off on the movies for at least two or three days. I mean, y’all are smart, you know what you like!

It’s just that this has been a pretty big year for comic book movies and lots of superhero stuff is in the works. The new Avengers movie is coming out, the Batman vs Superman trailer is was leaked before it was supposed to be shown in IMAX, and now we’ve got an awesome new trailer for Fox’s Fantastic Four reboot, –which I really hope is better than the other movies with Jessica Alba (barf!). And don’t even get me started on my beef with her, –herpes, *cough*… I am looking forward to a full year of great superhero and comic book flicks, so check out the new stills from the trailer and then! Go check out the trailer, –both are available on the source page.

“Tell me, do you bleed? You will,” the Dark Knight asks the Man of Steel in first extended look at the superhero showdown…”

Tell me, are you ready for a cinematic adventure 75 years in the making? You won’t be. The IMAX trailer for Batman V Superman has leaked a couple days early and so far things are looking dark and ultra gritty and the trailer already depicts a very grizzled and experienced Batman (played by Ben Affleck) coming to odds with our Man of Steel in what looks like a train yard or vacant lot of some kind.

Already there’s a very heavy vibe similar to the tone of Dark Knight Returns, one of the most popular Batman graphic novels originally written by Frank Miller. For fans of that book they will notice several similarities between the batsuit in the film in the book as well as the section of the trailer where Batman is wearing his Bat Armor during a tense face-down with Superman. In regards to the rest of the trailer, we do hear some narration from Jeremy Irons who will be portraying Alfred, and Jesse Eisenberg, who will be playing iconic Superman villain: Lex Luthor.

Definitely be on the lookout for more news regarding the clash of these 2 comic book titans coming to theaters in 2016.

Warner Bros and DC Comics wanted to set the world record for the largest gatherings of people dressed as DC Comics Superheroes within 24 hours. It seems likely old world record was broken.

15 cities all over the world began participating on April 18th, to attempt to break the world record for the largest gatherings of people dressed as DC Comics superheroes within 24 hours. It started in Queensland, Australia, –and ended in Los Angeles, California. Oh and no Marvel characters allowed! And some of the cutest participants were little doggies dressed up in Superman costumes! Omg, adorable. The world record’s original number of participants was 1,580, and with 15 cities in ten countries participating in the event, the world record is probably completely blown away.

I think that this calls for a contest: let’s go, Marvel, let’s go! This means they need to have a huge world event too; only MARVEL character costumes allowed, and see if they can top the number of DC participants. I wonder what the original record set for most people dressed as Marvel superheroes is? I wish that more cities in the United States were participating… sigh… but it makes sense. Plenty of people here are too wrapped up in being serious hipsters to go to stuff like that. Sigh.

“Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice Trailer Sneak Peek (2016) [with] Ben Affleck [and] Henry Cavill…”

So, wow… 20 seconds of trailer from what I must assume is… the trailer! or something…? This sneak peek or the trailer has had almost a million views, and all it shows are logos, and bits of suit! In slow motion! And people are going wild for it! Oh well, sure, we’re all excited for Batman vs. Superman but it won’t come out for almost another entire year, and the producers are releasing the trailer, the full trailer, in IMAX theaters all over the country… 2 whole minutes of sheer, pants-wetting, boxer-destroying, nerdy excitement.

But then it’s like I said… we have to wait like a whole year –just under an entire effing year, before the movie comes out. That’s a long time to go on just one trailer… Sigh. I dunno if I can make it, dude. But who knows, maybe if they’re releasing the trailer this early, the producers could potentially decide to move up the release date. I mean, there is building anticipation, and then there’s torturing people. Besides, we all know they’re going to make a ridiculous amount of money either way. Like I said before, when Batman vs. Superman finally hits theaters, I plan to avoid the roads!

It sounds like fans may finally be getting a look at the trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice very soon.

So, remember when we were talking about the report that Batman vs. Superman’s trailer would be premiering with the Mad Max: Fury Road film, which is due to show in theatres on May 15th? Right well, now we’ve got some conflict here: supposedly, some people are going to have the option of seeing it even sooner. This Thursday, the director Zack Snyder is releasing just the first five seconds of the trailer, and from there, people will be able to sign up to see the full trailer as soon as April 20th, more than three weeks ahead of the original premiere date.

Oh, and that has been confirmed through Twitter, so if you do enough Googling like, right now, is when the first five seconds are supposed to be coming out. You’ll find it. And then sign up to see the full trailer on April 20th. And if people are this excited about the first five seconds of a trailer, or god forbid, a minute long trailer of the film, can you imagine how packed theaters are going to be when the movie actually comes out? There are people that are probably going to see the Mad Max movie just to watch the trailer for Batman vs. Superman. During the Batman vs. Superman premier, it’ll be like, New Years’ Eve traffic. I’m staying inside the house.
